DeviantArt, the world's largest online art community, is looking for a Digital Producer to lead project management for the Creative team. You will be the day-to-day contact responsible for managing Creative team workflow, tracking and communicating project status, addressing issues and mitigating risks during the project cycle, and ensuring projects are appropriately staffed and delivered on time.  This is a key role for the company and you will work on a range of digital projects as well as some print, merchandise, and event-based collateral.


  • Partner with internal teams to kick off new projects and define scope and feasibility
  • Review job requests for accuracy, thoroughness and to ensure understanding of all client objectives and goals
  • Lead projects throughout the life cycle by developing and effectively managing project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Drive status meetings and track project milestones and deliverables to ensure all requirements and deliverable dates are clearly communicated, understood, and executed
  • Communicate with clients, designers, developers, 3rd party vendors and other internal or external team(s) to align timelines and manage internal and external expectations
  • Proactively identify challenges and risks, working with project teams to troubleshoot and resolve problems as shifts occur
  • Proactively identify opportunities to add value to the projects for the company and clients
  • Ensure client satisfaction by inspecting the final product prior to delivery to verify standards and guidelines were followed
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders including Marketing and Advertising to evolve and improve project workflows


  • 3+ years of professional experience in a project/ traffic/production manager role for digital projects in a client or agency environment
  • Experience working across multiple platforms and technologies including but not limited to rich media, social, mobile, front and back-end development.
  • Fundamental understanding of user experience, creative and technical development processes and best practices
  • Familiarity with Project Management and trafficking software such as Jira, AtTask, Rally, Asana, or Wrike (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Project Management principles, methods, and techniques
  • Superb multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while consistently delivering quality work.
  • Stellar time management, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Persistent attention to detail
  • Ability to take direction and responsibility for projects
  • Self-starter able to work with limited supervision
  • Must be able to provide examples of project schedules from previous experience
  • This position requires you to be located in the Los Angeles area and work from our L.A. office.
